Detailed Galaxy Watch 3 leak leaves little to the imagination android os
Samsung is set to launch the Galaxy Watch 3 on August 5 at Unpacked.
What you need to know
- Samsung is preparing to launch the Galaxy Watch 3 at Unpacked next week.
- A new leak by Evan Blass spills all the surprises, sharing detailed specs and color options.
- The leak also confirms the upcoming LTE variant.
Samsung is preparing to launch the Galaxy Watch 3, its successor to the Galaxy Watch Active 2, and a new leak by Evan Blass (@evleaks) on Twitter has all but given away whatever prior leaks may have managed to obscure.
Aside from showing off the watch's design, the leak also comes with a detailed spec sheet. There's not much new there, a lot of it confirms what we've heard before including the RAM, the inclusion of the ECG and other health sensors, durability level, rotating bezel, waterproofing, and so on. We can expect the Watch 3 to come in two sizes, a 45mm, and a 41mm variant. Color-wise, Samsung's new Mystic Bronze will be making an appearance for the 41mm model paired with a Mystic Silver edition, while the 45mm version will have just Mystic Black and Mystic Silver models. Buyers will also have the option to choose whether they want LTE or not.
Software features of the upcoming wearable have also leaked in the past month, confirming fall detection and new gestures, an earlier leak indicated the app would come with Microsoft Outlook and Spotify built-in.
Samsung will launch the Galaxy Watch 3 alongside the Note 20, Galaxy Z Fold 2 5G, Galaxy Tab S7, and Galaxy Buds Live. Like with the Galaxy Watch 3, all these devices have had extensive hardware leaks within the past few days. Samsung may still have some surprises up its sleeve, but it's hard to imagine what those may be.
Galaxy Watch Active 2
$279 at Amazon $279 at Best Buy $279 at Walmart
At the moment, the Galaxy Watch Active 2 is one of our favorite Samsung smartwatches. It manages to straddle the line between being a good smartwatch and a good fitness tracker, and it does it while being stylish.

How to watch Brassic online from anywhere android os
The British comedy series Brassic first premiered in the UK back in August of last year. However, Hulu has since purchased the rights to the show and we have all the details on how you can watch it online from anywhere in the world.
Brassic follows the lives of Vinnie and his five friends as the group commits various crimes in the fictional northern English town of Hawley. Surprisingly, the first season of the show was so well received that it was renewed for a second season even before the first episode had aired on TV.
Vinnie and his friends, Dylan, Cardi, Ash and Tommo have led a life filled with illegal activity since they were adolescents but as the group has grown older, some of the friends have started to wonder if they could put their past behind them and lead a normal life. In season 1, Vinnie gets into a heap of trouble when he steals a car containing antiques belonging to a local career criminal and businessman named Terence McCann. McCann then threatens Vinnie with violence if he can't repay him for the goods he's stolen. As Vinnie lives in a shack in the woods, paying McCann isn't an option so he decides to avoid him at all costs.
Sky One first aired season 1 of Brassic last year and season 2 of the show premiered back in May of this year. Now that Hulu has purchased the rights though, the streaming service will likely make season 2 available soon.
Whether you're a fan of quirky British comedies or are just looking for something funny and entertaining to watch this weekend, we'll show you how to get a Brassic live stream no matter where in the world you are.
Brassic - When and where?
While season 1 of Brassic first premiered on Sky One back in August of 2019, the streaming service Hulu bought the rights to the show earlier this year and will make all six episodes available to its customers on Friday, July 31.
Season 2 of the show released on Sky back in May so it could very well come to the US streaming service quite soon. Brassic has also been renewed for an expanded third season of eight episodes on Sky, though a release date has not yet been announced.
How to watch Brassic from anywhere
We have all the details on how you can watch the Brassic in the U.S., Canada, UK and Australia further down in this guide. However, if you want to watch the British comedy series when you're away from home, then you'll likely run into problems as your domestic coverage online from abroad will be geo-blocked.

Umbrella Academy Season 2
Unlike other recent superhero TV shows that are based on properties from Marvel or DC, Netflix's The Umbrella Academy is actually based on the comics of the same name by My Chemical Romance's Gerard Way. The first season of the show released just last year and was streamed by over 45 million viewers in its first month and now Netflix is set to release season 2 of The Umbrella Academy worldwide on Friday, July 31.
The Umbrella Academy tells the story of 43 babies that were born at exactly the same time on the same day to mothers who were not pregnant the day before. Eccentric billionaire Sir Reginald Hargreeves then decides to adopt seven of these children, who he believes to be the future saviors of Earth, and trains them to be a superhero team in what he calls "The Umbrella Academy". The children are given the names Luther, Diego, Allison, Klaus, Number Five, Ben and Vanya by their nanny robot-mother Grace. Many years pass and the members of The Umbrella Academy go their separate ways in the world. However, they are reunited following the sudden and mysterious death of Sir Reginald.
Without going into spoilers for those who haven't seen or have yet to finish season 1 of The Umbrella Academy, season 2 of the show will be set in the 1960s in and around Dallas, Texas. In season 2, the superpowered siblings will have to find a way to reunite, figure out what caused the apocalypse and how to stop it and then return to the present. Most of the cast from season 1 will be returning for the second season and they will be joined by Ritu Arya, Yusuf Gatewood and Marin Ireland.
Whether you're just hearing about The Umbrella Academy for the first time or have been eagerly awaiting the next season since last season 1's cliffhanger, we have all the details on how you can watch season 2 of The Umbrella Academy online from anywhere in the world.
The Umbrella Academy season 2 - When and where?
Every episode in season 2 of The Umbrella Academy will be available to watch on Netflix on Friday, July 31 and since it's a Netflix Original, you can watch it in every country where the streaming service is currently available.

PS5 What GPU and CPU will it have?
As stated above, it will feature a custom GPU based on the Radeon Navi and a CPU based on AMD's third-generation Ryzen line, with 8-cores of the new 7nm Zen 2 microarchitecture. According to Mark Cerny, the GPU will also support hardware-based ray tracing, which is a visual technique that models how light interacts with 3D environments. Usually only big-budget Hollywood movies have the technology and money to utilize such technology, and it's not found in any current video game console.
PS5 What resolution and frame rates will it support?
Sony looks to be future-proofing the PS5 as it will be able to support up to 8K resolution. While most televisions on the market don't support such resolutions and 4K is still being widely adopted, this should increase the upcoming console's longevity as 8K starts to pop up more frequently, even if it takes several years to do so.
As for frame rates, we know it will support up to 120FPS in games but it's safe to assume that 60FPS will be more commonly seen, with some games possibly reaching 120FPS.
PS5 What kind of storage will it have?
Here's where it gets interesting. Instead of coming with an internal HDD, the PS5 will sport an internal SSD. Though players can already hook up an SSD to their PS4, it's something that they need to buy separately and install themselves. What's the difference between an HDD and SSD, though?
SSDs and HDDs are hardware components that deal with storage. The biggest difference between them is that an SSD has no moving parts and data is stored on flash-memory chips. HDDs use moving mechanical parts to read/write information, thus making the process slower than that of an SSD. This is why games like Anthem run better while playing on an SSD.
Its I/O throughput thanks to its SSD can reach a staggering 5.5GB/s (Raw) and 8-9GB/s (Compressed).
PS5 What kind of optical drive will it have?
The PS5 includes a 4K Blu-ray drive. Physical versions of PS5 games will be shipped on 100GB Blu-ray discs, which can be read by the 4K Blu-ray drive. It will also be able to play 4K Blu-ray movies and DVDs.
This disc drive is eliminated entirely on the PS5 Digital Edition.
PS5 What about everything else?
We also know that the DualSense controller will support USB-C charging. This controller has several other improvements, like haptic feedback in the sticks and triggers. Players should now actually feel the tension within the triggers based on whatever actions they're performing in game, a common example being drawing the string on a bow. In theory, this should give us a greater sense of immersion.

Huawei's latest figures show it doesn't need Google's help to succeed android os
Strong performance in China allowed Huawei to overtake Samsung and become the world's largest smartphone manufacturer.
When Huawei's trade ban went into effect last year, the Chinese manufacturer avowed to posting strong sales figures in spite of losing access to Google Mobile Services, including the Play Store, Gmail, Google Drive, YouTube, and others. The trade ban effectively killed Huawei's global ambitions, and while the brand launched the Mate 30 and the P40 series without Google services, they weren't well-received in global markets.
Huawei's performance in China over the last 12 months is an entirely different matter. The brand sold 238.5 million phones in 2019, allowing Huawei to overtake Apple. A majority of those sales were because of a strong showing in the Chinese market, and in Q1 2020, Huawei became the largest player in the country, accounting for an incredible 41% market share.
Huawei's strong sales figures have continued into Q2 2020 as the industry as a whole reels from the global pandemic. With global shipments of 55.8 million, Huawei just overtook Samsung to become the largest smartphone manufacturer in the world. That's according to data from Canalys:
Obviously, the numbers for this quarter are skewed because of the pandemic and movement restrictions that are in effect in many countries. They're not indicative of any sizable gains by Huawei; in fact, the Canalys data suggests Huawei saw an overall sales decline of 5% from last year. But the brand was able to pull ahead because Samsung witnessed a decline of 30% from the same period a year ago.
China wasn't as badly affected by the pandemic, allowing Huawei to overtake Samsung.
Huawei's overseas sales declined by 27% from the same time a year ago, but it has made up the difference in China, seeing a net increase of 8% from last year. Huawei's home market now accounting for 72% of its phone sales, and that's how the brand was able to edge out Samsung. China's handset market fared relatively better than most regions, declining by just 17% in Q2 2020.
For context, the U.S. market was down by 20%, and an extended nationwide lockdown meant India witnessed a 51% decline in year-on-year sales. These numbers are pertinent to our discussion, because the U.S. and India are two markets where Samsung has a healthy market share.
By contrast, Samsung doesn't even account for 1% market share in China, so the fact that most global markets witnessed a decline in Q2 2020 hit Samsung particularly hard. Samsung is looking to rebound in Q3 2020 on the back of the Galaxy Note 20 series, and it should retake the lead once global markets stabilize.
Unlike other markets, Huawei isn't affected by the lack of Play Store in China.
While this year has been anything but normal, we are getting a great insight into Huawei's smartphone strategy. As the manufacturer is effectively locked out of global markets, it is redoubling its efforts in China. Its latest phones pack incredible cameras and gorgeous designs, and while they're on sale in a few Western markets, no one is realistically going to pay over $1,000 for phones that don't have access to the Play Store.
That, however, is not an issue in China. With Google and most other foreign services banned in the country, all Chinese brands bundle their own app stores on all phones sold in China. So for all intents and purposes, it's business as usual for Huawei in the country, and with the market accounting for 369 million phone shipments in 2019, there's plenty of room for Huawei to grow.
And that's what the brand is doing. With a 41% market share, Huawei is head and shoulders above the rest of the competition, with Vivo occupying second place with a share of 17% and OPPO in third with a 15% share. Huawei is essentially showing that it doesn't need to rely on global markets — or access to the Play Store — to continue its smartphone momentum.
It will be interesting to see it the Chinese manufacturer can sustain that growth in the coming months. The rest of 2020 will be particularly challenging for Huawei as it contends with losing access to TSMC, which will cut off its ability to manufacture new Kirin chipsets for its upcoming phones. Huawei is said to have stockpiled enough hardware to meet its short-term needs, and the brand is turning to MediaTek for powering its mid-range phones.

Still a great phone in 2020
A year after its launch, the P30 Pro still has a lot going for it. The hardware is still fast, the design is just as striking, and the camera at the back continues to take amazing photos. You also get all-day battery life and 40W fast charging with 15W wireless charging, the latest EMUI 10 update with Android 10, and global LTE bands for use on AT&T or T-Mobile.

Here's everything we know about Elden Ring android os
How can you not be excited by a collaboration between minds behind Game of Thrones and Dark Souls?
There are a lot of reasons to be excited about Elden Ring, even though we haven't been told very much at all about the game itself. First, the mind behind Dark Souls, Hidetaka Miyazaki, is the one developing the game along with the team at Bandai Namco. If you have never played the Dark Souls games, you'll know they are a gritty, powerful collection of games with fantastic fighting mechanics and storylines.
The next amazing thing about Elden Rings is that George R.R. Martin has written the story. That's right, the creator of Game of Thrones — one of the most popular TV series ever — has created the world, mythos, and backstory to the Elden Ring Game.
If ever there was a combination of people to make a dark fantasy game, it's these two. While gameplay footage is non-existent and information extremely scarce, we do have some information for you to check out. We will also be updating this article as we find out more.

Game of Dark Souls
Right now, all we know is Martin and Miyazaki are making a game together. That's enough for me. I want it. Right now.
What is Elden Ring?
Elden Ring is going to be an RPG with heavy combat mechanics, magic, and epic backstory. Miyazaki recently gave an interview over at Xbox.com where he explained that Elden Ring will be more geared toward RPG elements than being a straight-up third-person fighting game.
There will be room to customize the character you play in terms of physicality, as well as their skillsets and weapon choices. There will be a variety of magic, weapons, and "ways to engage enemies" that we haven't seen before in other series Miyazaki has worked on. While Dark Souls is a rough and tumble hack and slash, Elden Ring is going to feel a little more nuanced to better reflect its RPG nature.
You can check it out in the trailer below.
Elden Ring gameplay
I'm afraid this section is just a place holder. We have seen nothing at all of the gameplay for Elden Ring, and I don't think we will see any for some time. The game is in the very early development stages, and as soon as we see some footage, we will update it here.
We can speculate that it will be similar in feel to Dark Souls or Sekiro, another FromSoftware game, as we know it will be a third-person fighting game, but the speculation has to stop there.
We do know that there will be huge boss fights. Miyazaki has said that, "Boss fights are something we enjoy making and make up one of the climaxes to this title as well." So it sounds like there will be huge fights in Elden Ring to slake your boss encounter thirst.
What is the backstory for Elden Ring?
I wish I knew. All we know so far is that something called the Elden Ring, a thing so important the world depends on it, has been shattered, and now the whole plane of existence is in jeopardy.
Is the Elden Ring an actual ring, or is it ring like the rings of Saturn? We don't know, and will likely not know until much later in the year.
What we do know about the backstory is that George R.R. Martin has taken the time away from writing books to create the entire mythos of Elden Ring from scratch.
Miyazaki had a lot of concepts that he and Martin discussed — I'm glad this was a back and forth and not one-sided — but the final writing process was all down to the Game of Thrones creator. If you have read the Game of Thrones books, you'll know that Martin writes "low fantasy", a subsection of the fantasy genre that specializes in more realistic portrayals of magic and the people that live in those worlds. Unlike high fantasy, which has a lot of clear cut lines of good and evil, low fantasy is full of grays, where good people can do bad things and bad people can do good.
Is Elden Ring canceled?
No, Elden Ring has not been canceled. It's been over a year since there was any meaningful news but it's likely that FromSoftware has just been impacted by work from home policies. We'll continue to provide updates as we learn anything new.
Elden Ring release date
There has been no indication for when Elden Ring will be released, but as we have yet to see even one second of gameplay, we can assume that the game is very early on in the design process.
It's unlikely that Elden Ring will be released in 2020 but we may yet see new gameplay later in the year.

Here's everything you need to know about Baldur's Gate 3 android os
The Illithid are back and they are ready to conquer all of the Forgotten Realms.
When you think of truly iconic Dungeons and Dragons videogames, the first name that will always come to mind is Baldur's Gate. There are others — Neverwinter Nights comes to mind — but none of them hold the hallowed place in people's hearts like the Baldur's Gate series.
It's taken a long time, but Wizards of the Coast, the owners of D&D, have finally agreed to allow a company to get its hands on the rights to the franchise. Larian Studios — the creators of the hugely popular Divinity: Original Sin series — has been given the reigns, and asked to create a true successor to the RPG we all know and love.

Divinity: Original Sin II Definitive Edition
Echoes of eternity and fate
To prepare for Baldur's Gate 3, players can go through Divinity: Original Sin 2, a critically-acclaimed RPG from Larian Studios that will help prepare players for the next big game.
What is Baldur's Gate 3?
Baldur's Gate 3 is an isometric role-playing game being developed and published by Larian Studios, with support work done by Wushu Studios. It takes place in the Forgotten Realms setting of Dungeons & Dragons and is named so because of the iconic city: Baldur's Gate.
Baldur's Gate is a city located on the Sword Coast on the continent of Faerûn and is the setting for several of the companies roleplaying modules. It also features in countless books and D&D campaigns across the world.
The city itself has been the center of a lot of turmoil over the years, but has been kept safe by the local law enforcement, The Watch, and has been a model of inclusiveness for much of the Sword Coast. That doesn't mean it doesn't have its own seedy underbelly. It has historically been a safe haven for smugglers and "Freetraders" — that means pirates folks — but the Watch and the addition of the mercenary company the Flaming Fists keep the criminals from becoming too powerful.
Baldur's Gate is the place you go to get the thing you need, whatever that thing might be. In this case, the thing you don't is there too. Tentacled things.
You can take a look at the opening cinematic for Baldur's Gate III below.
What on Faerûn are those tentacle things?
Those are the Illithid, and they are as scary in-game as they look on screen. The Illithid, or Mind Flayers as they are sometimes called, are terrifying beasties from another plane that have made their way to the Forgotten Realms in Nautiloids — dimension-hopping ships, and that enormous tentacled thing in the background — where they seek to conquer the worlds and eat the people who live there.
Clearly inspired by Lovecraftian mythos, the Illithid have psychic powers. To breed — this is really gross, folks — they implant their tadpole in another species ear and the tadpole then eats the brain until it takes over fully. Once the tadpole has reached maturity, it transforms the host into the full Mind Flayer you can see above.
The Illithid are the perfect enemy for this post-Stranger Things world we live in. The Illithid are what the Stranger Things 2 used as inspiration for its Big Bad, and so an entirely new generation knows what they are and why they are scary. This gives Baldur's Gate 3 a base of people with an interest in Illithid.
Baldur's Gate 3 story, gameplay, and features
The first trailers that we saw didn't have any gameplay footage, but Larian has spoken more about what we can expect. As the makers of Divinity: Original Sin, Larian is no stranger to Isometric-style games and as the original two Baldur's Gate games were also isometric, Baldur's Gate III follows suit as an isometric game.
Larian and Mike Mearls, creative director of Dungeons & Dragons at Wizards of the Coast, spoke about how the game needs to reflect how D&D plays and that a lot of the game mechanics will reflect the play between the Game Master in D&D and you, the player. There is even talk of a "DM Mode" — giving you the chance to create your own story within the story. While this has not been confirmed, Divinity does have a DM Mode and it would be crazy not to include it in a game based on D&D.
We got to see gameplay of the game at a reveal early in 2020, which shows an in-progress look at what players can expect. You can read more in our preview coverage. Here are some highlights:
- At the beginning of the game, your character has a tadpole implanted in their head.
- While searching for a cure, you realize this infection is giving you mysterious powers.
- The game uses verticality, so you can move up great heights to ambush enemies.
- Larian is using photogrammetry to increase the visual quality of the game world.
- Performing skill rolls such as Persuasion requires rolling virtual dice.
- If you choose a pre-made character, there will be extra cutscenes.
- Larian wants it to be around the same length as Divinity: Original Sin II.
What are the Baldur's Gate 3 races?
Baldur's Gate 3 will have some prebuilt Origin characters you can choose from but you can also create your own unique character. Here are the confirmed races and subraces you'll be able to choose from.
- Dwarf — Hill Dwarf, Mountain Dwarf
- Elf — High Elf, Wood Elf
- Halfling — Lightfoot, Stout
- Human
- Gnome — Forest Gnome, Rock Gnome
- Half-Elf
- Tiefling — Asmodeus Tiefling
- Half-Drow
- Drow
What classes can you play in Baldur's Gate 3?
While you'll pick a class in Baldur's Gate 3, each time you gain a level you have the option to multiclass. For example, an 8th level character could be a pure 8th level Barbarian or a 5th level Barbarian, 3rd level Wizard. You've got options! Here are all the classes and archetypes you'll be able to choose from in Baldur's Gate 3.
- Barbarian — Path of the Berserker, Path of the Totem Warrior
- Bard — College of Lore, College of Valor
- Cleric — Life, Light, Trickery, Knowledge, Nature, Tempest, War
- Druid — Circle of the Land, Circle of the Moon
- Fighter — Battle Master, Eldritch Knight, Champion
- Monk — Way of the Open Hand, Way of Shadow, Way of the Four Elements
- Paladin — Oath of Devotion, Oath of the Ancients, Oath of Vengeance
- Ranger — Beast Master, Hunter
- Rogue — Assassin, Arcane Trickster, Thief
- Sorcerer — Draconic Bloodline, Wild Magic
- Warlock — The Fiend, Great One, Archfey
- Wizard — Abjuration, Evocation, Conjuration, Divination, Enchantment, Illusion, Necromancy, Transmutation
Is Baldur's Gate 3 a direct sequel?
Yes, but you don't really need to have played the other games to understand Baldur's Gate 3. In a recent interview with Fextralife Larian, CEO Sven Vincke said we will meet "several characters from previous games" but that each of the games are "closed chapters." This makes a lot of sense. The first game arrived on shelves in 1998, that's a long time to try and remember everything that's happened over two massive RPGs.
What edition is Baldur's Gate 3?
If you aren't normally a Dungeons and Dragons player, you might not know what this means. The edition of D&D you play greatly changes the rules and feel of the campaign and will inform the game designers' decisions when it comes to certain actions like fighting and defenses.
Baldur's Gate was originally based on the second edition of D&D, often referred to as AD&D, while this new game will focus on the Fifth Edition ruleset. Right now, Wizards of the Coast are all in on Fifth Edition, so it makes perfect sense for this new game to use the latest and greatest.
Fifth Edition has some interesting mechanics that could work really well in a computer game. Things like Advantage — roll two dice and take the better result — and inspiration — make a decision based on your character's backstory and get Advantage — should transfer into a digital world fairly easily.
Will Baldur's Gate 3 be on PS4?
It's very unlikely. Right now, the confirmed platforms are Stadia and PC. Developers at Larian Studios have openly said they want the game to come to additional platforms but that current consoles, such as the PS4, will not be capable of running the game.
Will Baldur's Gate 3 have multiplayer?
Yes. The Baldur's Gate 3 tagline is "Gather Your Party" so having a multiplayer component is guaranteed. Sven did say that there will be cooperative multiplayer and that the party is a huge part of the game. Dungeons & Dragons without a party is really not a lot of fun, so playing the game with a group of friends will make a huge difference.
I also like the idea of being able to give your inspiration to other members of your party. It's a big part of Fifth Edition and would really add a feeling that you are playing the tabletop game, visualized through a video game.
What you need to know about Baldur's Gate 3 early access
Much like Larian Studios' previous title Divinity: Original Sin II, there's going to be an early access period for Baldur's Gate 3 to help the developers fix bugs and balance the game. Early access can potentially begin sometime in August 2020. When it does, you'll be able to choose from a limited number of classes and play through the first section of the story.
Here are the classes and archetypes that'll be included with early access. Please note that multiclassing will not be available in early access.
- Fighter — Battle Master, Eldritch Knight
- Wizard — Evocation, Abjuration
- Rogue — Arcane Trickster, Thief
- Ranger — Hunter, Beast Master
- Cleric — Life, Light, Trickery
- Warlock — Fiend, Great One
You can see a bit of early access gameplay below:
What is the Baldur's Gate 3 release date?
Unfortunately, we don't currently have a release date or even a release window for the full game. We do know that it will be coming to Google Stadia and PC. We also know that it will launch into early access sometime later in 2020. This early access period will include the first bit of the story and some areas to explore, though the full game will be much larger.
Update Sept. 20, 2019: A D&D expansion ties into Baldur's Gate 3
The latest D&D module from Wizards of the Coast is based in Baldur's Gate and will be linked to the goings-on in the Baldur's Gate 3 video game. We won't know how linked until someone who has completed it and played BG3 tells us but the storyline suggests a link.
Zariel is known for taking entire cities into the Nine Hells — a separate dimension in the Forgotten Realms — using infernal machinery. If the inhabitants of Baldur's Gate fight back, or if the angels get involved, it could cause a rift that would allow the Illithid to enter the Faerûn dimension.

What is Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2?
Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 is, technically, a sequel to Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines, a 2004 title that was itself an indirect sequel to Vampire: The Masquerade - Redemption. It's a mixture of a first-person role-playing game with immersive sim elements. The story shifts from Santa Monica to Seattle, where your character and multiple others are turned into vampires in a highly-illegal "mass embrace."
As a vampire in the World of Darkness, you have to figure out your place and navigate a seedy underbelly while wielding vampiric powers. Every decision you make will matter and you cannot break the shadowy Masquerade, the veil that keeps the world and vampires and other night creatures hidden from humans.
Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 gameplay and features
Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 promises an immersive sim, role-playing experience where decisions matter, building on the lore and atmosphere that fans enjoyed in the first game while improving the technical aspects. Here's everything we know about the gameplay and features.
- This game was first made possible in 2015, when Paradox Interactive purchased White Wolf, which owns the World of Darkness setting.
- The game takes place entirely at night in Seattle.
- You can choose your human background from before you became a vampire, such as a police officer or barista.
- These backgrounds add different bonuses to your character.
- You can customize your character's appearance and pronouns.
- While the game is first-person, it switches to third-person for certain actions and moments.
- A big developer focus was improving the combat, Hardsuit Labs was inspired by Dishonored.
- There are five different vampire clans.
- There are also five different factions in Seattle.
- You can join multiple different factions but they may come into conflict with each other.
- The first expansion is called Season of the Wolf and it is highly implied to deal with werewolves, a deadly enemy of vampires.
- The story is being written by Brian Mitsoda, who wrote the first game as well.
- Chris Avellone was originally involved but his work will no longer be used after recent sexual misconduct allegations.
- You can check out the E3 gameplay demo below.
List of clans in Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2
While your character starts as a Thinblood vampire and you'll choose one of three Thinblood disciplines, you'll eventually be able to choose between one of five greater clans. They are the Brujah, Tremere, Toreador, Ventrue and Malkavian clans.
Each clan has different abilities, as well as strengths and weaknesses. The Brujah are physically strong, the Tremere wield blood magic, the Toreador are supernaturally seductive, the Ventrue are dangerously authoritative and the Malkavians suffer madness that allows them to see hidden truths of the world.
Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 trailers
There have been multiple trailers for the game, showing gameplay and the different clans. You can check out a trailer for each of the clans here: Brujah, Tremere, Toreador, Ventrue and Malkavian.
You can also take a look at the extended gameplay trailer below.
Then, there's a new trailer called Come Dance. You'll understand why when you check it out.
Is Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 coming to PS5?
Yes, Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 will be coming to PS5, alongside PC, PS4, Xbox One and Xbox Series X.
Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 collector's edition
There is a collector's edition for the game. You can see everything included below. If you want to buy it, it's available only directly from Paradox Interactive.
Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 release date
Originally scheduled to release sometime in March 2020, Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 now has a vague release window of sometime later in 2020. There are three versions of the game that will be available for preorder: the Standard edition, Unsanctioned Edition and Blood Moon edition. The Unsanctioned edition will include digital extras and bonus items, while the Blood Moon edition includes those as well as two story packs and the expansion.
